I am so glad to see that you guys at Liberty Orchards are offering the flavors separately now instead of teaming the Aplets & Cotlets together. Personally, I can't stand the Cotlets, but that's just me. They are plenty tasty and the rest of my family loves them. For me? I'll be buying Aplets from you guys all the time now that I've found you again! Growing up in Washington meant I always got some of your delicious confections. Here in Utah? Not so much. Not anymore!!!!!! Love you guys!
Liberty Orchards Reply: Well we love you too, Gerald! Thanks for your note.

I was in Washington visiting family and we made the journey to the factory and i was very impressed with the simplicity and tastiness of the candies.

I would give the cranberry ones 5 stars b/c they are so good you could make yourself sick on them. But the Rose-pistachio tastes like DEAD FLOWERS! and it wasn't just one it was the whole box, i wouldve understood if it was just one (i did taste a funky cranberry one once) but not the whole box n everyone said the same thing. The strawberry is my son's favorite and cherry is my husbands favorite so i thought that deserves atleast 4 stars. great candies.
Liberty Orchards Reply: Thanks for the honest feedback, Amanda. The Rose-Pistachio is not for everyone. Our candies are based on traditional Locoum (Turkish Delight) from the eastern Mediterranean, where they commonly use floral aromatic flavorings like rose and orange blossom oil. While many people find those flavors weird and unappealing, others just love them.

My grandpa sold these candies at his fruit stand in Zillah, Wa. They were a special treat he would give to us, they are a must have for a Christmas present in our family!
